I'd be interested if this wasn't a one trick pony. An FPGA that could support many cores to open this up would be my ideal. The MiSTer started out with Amiga and ST in mind but these days can include any of the computers we remember and while we've got consolised versions of this hardware, we also need someone to build it into a wedge computer for us to properly enjoy the Amstrad, Spectrum, Acorn, computers we all played and coded on. The logo on the front isn't so important, just make it a good keyboard that can cope with a hammering from Speccy Daley Thompson Decathlon and other keyboard games I remember from childhood at home and at friend's houses.
As I was an ST(E) owner in days of yore, that's my natural platform choice, but knowing that the Amiga version may have better audio (as was often the case) makes me wonder if anyone has compared the two yet? The review on this site is for Amiga and doesn't mention the ST so I can't tell if there's full feature parity. Will I get a poor man's version if I keep my old loyalties?
I appreciate everyone's views of the contemporary IGN are pretty low, but as a source of reviews for older games from PS3 and before, I still find it a very good resource! It takes a little effort to avoid the cruft; much like GameSpot, but the vintage articles are excellent.
I'd love to see Hookshot start to fill out older console catalogues with reviews on their sites. I always check Nintendo Life for example when looking at a game title, but very often find the game listing, but no review.
Very exciting news. I recently put my old DCs away and switched to full-time emulation. I'd not bought any of the new DC controllers that came out over the last few years as they always looked like a compromise over the OG design. Great that I can now make use of the real controllers.

I've been running my games over SMB on my slim - this would tidy things up nicely - I imagine data transfer might be faster as well.
