Lived in Ashby and our family had a Spectrum for Christmas and our local Newsagents started selling their own developed games. They were just a step ahead of everything else out at the time. Jet Pac, Knightlore, Sabrewulf were just awesome. I used to visit every week, buy some sweets and occasionally buy a new game. As the article said, back in the day the games industry was in its infancy, but I think retrospectively some recognition should be given to the Stampers and Ultimate Play the Game. Even if it was a plaque on The Green. Pretty certain people would reveal to take a photo and drive a small amount of tourism especially given how they flourished with Nintendo
