I'm a big fan of RAs. I'm not one to master games on the site and get every point in it, but what's nice about the site is that it keeps track of all the games you played. I also like that it also keeps track when you beat a game, so you can still keep a tally of all the games you completed even if you don't feel like Mastering them. It's also helped me discover so many cool retro games I've never even heard of.
Also, don't just dismiss the Wii library because of the motion controls. There are a few that really don't require it that are great. I loved the Klonoa remake and the Punch-Out game, both can be played with the Wiimote turned on the side. Muramasa is another one I'm excited to play, which also doesn't require them.
The sticking point for me with the term wasn't that Metroid popularized the game genre first, it was that Castlevannia had already established itself as a series of level-based action platformers beloved by many well before SotN, so I always thought adding the "-vannia" at the end of the term seemed odd and sort of ignores Castlevannia's origins. At least Metroid was from it's inception, a Metroidvannia. Although, I do concede "Symph-troid" doesn't sound as good.
It's also just good marketing to give credit, these are two accounts that likely have a lot of cross over interest to a specific audience, why not cross-promote and increase you followers?
Wow, what a risky move to lift that shot from Kabernari Iron Fortress. Anime studios have been known to be protective of their intellectual property and that anime is pretty recent too.

Oh yeah, they had that arcade cabinet in the game room at Otakon last year. It reminds me of Gals Panic.
