Is it too much to ask of companies to clean up images made with GenAI? How hard is it to make some cleaner button graphics and put on a proper Sega logo? Answer: Not at all.
I know I'm stupid late on this, but Josh Fairhurst doesn't know what "new old stock" means. If the chips were new old stock they'd be in good cosmetic condition because they were in their original packaging upon purchase.
@Guru_Larry Sonic the Hedgehog 2 benefits from an overclock in the two-player mode. There's showdown when a player is hot and loses rings, but there's no speed loss with an overclocked CPU. There was an episode of Screensavers on TechTV way back in the day showing this:
I personally don't think they're needed, but unfortunately we live in a world where we either get a warning screen or the content gets altered or pulled. I'd gladly take another pre-title screen that I'll skip past if it keeps the media available and unaltered.
