Topic: Could Perifractic actually buy Commodore?

TLDR: it just sets up the cliffhanger that the current IP holder may want to sell him the Commodore brand. Now we get to wait for part 2 to find out if it's legit and could happen. But, I'm really curious where/how he'd get the money. In his vid he covers a lot of the sums that have been spent by various companies to acquire the IP. I wouldn't guess the current holder is going to not want to make some money off their investment since they haven't really seen any profit from licensing deals.

I'm all for this, if only for Perifractic to actually launch a business to support the community, and maybe be able to launch/support 3rd party protects to further extend the retro community for C=64. It's not clear if this would include Amiga IP. In the vid it sounds like the Amiga brand wouldn't be included. I didn't know it was split off, and he didn't cover it specifically.

Gotta keep an eye out for part 2.
