The composer of Land Stalker also states it was initally meant to be a part of the Shining series.

MK3 is to me one of the best game OSTs ever, so I really idolize Dan.

But somehow, he wasn't making a difference in newer MK games and their forgettable soundtracks.

Anyone can read Romero's script now. It was great.
