Made an account just to say that I really enjoyed this interview. I always enjoyed secret of mana as a kid but I really, really dug into secret of evermore.
I spent months on it and had the guide which I read cover to cover. The alchemy system really set it apart and the visuals hold up today. I still have my cartridge and many fond memories of evermore. This along with earthbound and chrono trigger are where I spent most of my time with SNES RPGs.
