@PKDuckman @Teksette Thx both of you! Everytime I saw a new release for the Egret Mini I assumed some kind of restock was on the cards sooner or later... Guess that's not the case I see my best option would be eBay et al, as I wanted the pink one.
I did my part and became a member. I still have to side with all the comments stating that they operate in an archaic way. I was baffled to learn a few years back that they didn't "dump roms" per se, but created something akin to high resolution scans out of diskettes (the magnetic part of them, holding the data), in the hope that sometime in the future, you could use those scans to access the data. I assumed at the time, and has been confirmed by this article, that they operate this way to circunvent the restrictions of the japanese copyright law. And no, I don't personally want or need those roms, they'd be in hot water. I firmly condemn any harassment they receive for that. The PDF newsletters, well, I'm sure there's better ways to create and distribute those. A tiny 5 mb file takes around a minute to download (!). Again, they are explicitly short on time, money and resources so I'm sure they're doing their best with what they have. Hope for the best!

What's the best (cheaper?) way to get one Egret Mini in Europe nowadays? Do they still make them?
