Re: The Best Mistake Nintendo Ever Made? Why 2DS Is The Perfect Embodiment Of Gunpei Yokoi's Core Principles

Kawaiipikachu

Also another problem why the 3DS didn't sell is the DSi.
The DSi, in a lot of peoples eyes seem more like a successor rather that a variation of the DS lineup.
It had new features in the form of the camera & Downloadable DSI ware.
Also a lot of the media quite often miss-reporting that it has a faster processor which Nintendo did absolutely nothing to dispel, I mean nothing.
So here we have what looked like to a lot of the people the DS successor only for the actual successor in the form of the 3DS suddenly appear out of nowhere, so a lot of DSi owners gotten burned when they realized that there DS successor is no more than a DS 2.
As a result, a lot of DSi owners was disaded from the 3DS simply because they don't want to be burned again.

Re: Did You Know The NES Had A Much Cooler Name In India?

@tektite_captain Here in Australia we have the Mattel vers & the NES version.
The difference being that the Early systems were distributed by Mattel & the NES version is Distributed by the then newly founded Nintendo Australia.

With Nintendo Australia founded in 93 I can imagine it's the lats legs of the NES & the NES version is pretty much rare here.

Re: Full Of Eastern Promise: The Rise And Fall Of Grey Importing

Sound's pretty neat & cool, just unfortunately I was a bit to young for the old gray import scene & I'm still not sure what gray importing was like here in Australia.
So I mostly missed out.
I said mostly as my local Gametraders did stock the odd gray import with mostly with GBA & DS games.
So I did get get Final Fantasy V & VI's GBA releases that were never officially released here.
So I did at least experience something.
