SHOGO: MAD mentioned. You did giant robots incredibly well. Especially for the time. And being able to transform was awesome! And the on foot missions were incredible. It just had an atmosphere unlike anything else. IMO, the game came out at the wrong time is all. I found it on discount around 2001. Everyone I showed it to loved it. Bought up every copy the local store had. I got mine in the big box, but bought a second time bundled with Septerra Core. I'd kill for a sequel to SHOGO, even if it meant the same graphics. Just a fun game.
Duckstation is one of the most solid and easy to use emulators. There's always so much drama on the internet and scammers that seek to exploit everything they can, this move doesn't surprise me. In the grand scheme, it means nothing to the end user. But on the backend, hopefully it'll make their life easier
