Re: This Retro Game Store Is So Good It Has Its Own Video Game

@SoreThumb I was replying to someone else's comment. I wasn't slagging off, I was sharing my experience of going into your store on multiple occasions.

I'm just a quiet person who likes to look and buy retro games, when I came into your store, I brought some games and simply asked if you had a certain game in stock and your reply was just rude, like I was stupid to ask. I more polite way would have been sorry we don't have but maybe try (insert name of somewhere else). That's the type of polite customer service I've had at the retro fairs and other retro gaming shops. I had a lovely experience in a retro games shop in Brighton.

Why are personal attacking what have I done? It's not my duty to do loads in the retro community, I have a career and a responsibility to care for people's lives.

Not once have you apologised for the poor experience in your store, you just got defensive. An apology would have been a good start and maybe I would have revisit your store.

@SoreThumb how is me buying something wasting your time??? There are other people that agreed that the staff are rude. I've been to plenty of retro gaming shops and retro fares and met lots of nice, polite and helpful staff. Maybe visit some other retro gaming shops and fares and see how to be polite. It's a shame because, the shop has some good stuff and is in a nice city.

Also when I said outdated, I meant your attitude not your stock. I know your a retro shop and I'm not your pal.

Seriously go to the retro games fair in Leeds, it's great and there's a bunch of great people. I don't want to see other retro shop go under, but just consider improving your customer service. The retro gaming community should be about helping each other and sharing our love for this media. Gaming is for everyone.

@boatie "The Evercade VS-R now comes in a charcoal grey with turquoise accents with the front LED and Power button. The Evercade VS-R still features a dual cartridge slot and four USB ports for local multiplayer action. The HDMI output makes this the best way to play retro games on your television or monitor at 1080p resolution. The console firmware now includes the option for TATE screen rotation, which means if your monitor or television supports it, you can now play vertical games on a big screen to great effect. WiFi connectivity allows you to update your console firmware with ease.

Included in the Evercade VS-R package is one controller (also in charcoal grey with turquoise accents), one micro-USB power cable, and one Evercade cartridge collection, using our new Giga Cart format, which will be announced later this month."
