For obvious reasons, The Legend of Zelda for the NES never came out on Amstrad Plus computers back in the day, but recently, IndieRetroNews reported that a small group of fans, comprised of the musician and coder Zisquier and artist BDCIRON, had got together to create their own adaptation for the retro range of machines.

According to the itch.io page, the adaptation, which hit version 3.2 earlier this year, gradually turned into more of a parody during its development. That likely explains the project's adult themes, which may put many people off checking it out. This includes its strange title "La Culotte De Zelda" (which roughly translates to "The Panties of Zelda") and the bizarre twist on the main plot that sees Link collecting the Princess's underwear rather than pieces of the Triforce. There's also some weird nudity involved and other adult themes (something IndieRetroNews seemed to overlook entirely in its original article).
