The port of Double Dragon for the ZX Spectrum isn't necessarily considered the best way to experience the classic arcade beat 'em up, thanks to its simple graphics, poor animation, and lack of music.

However, thanks to Monsters Productions and tiboh'23, there is now a way to play a slightly improved version of the port for 128k machines (thanks IndieRetroNews!). The port adds AY chip covers of the C64 soundtrack into the game (which coder Matt Westcott has since claimed credit for on Twitter), as well as game-over and epilogue screens, offering some slight improvements over the original.
