This is because people are comparing the DS to the PSP, both appealed to totally different audiences. The DS was more gimmicky and appealed to casuals, the PSP appealed to core gamers. Both cannot be compared and the casual market is a lot bigger, but they're also less loyal. The PSP's core gamer appeal made it stood the test of time better than the DS. The casual gamers on the other dropped the DS and the Wii, and moved over to mobile. Hence why the 3DS only achieved half the amount of success the DS received with very slow sales despite it being cheap, and the Wii U utterly flopped.
The Vita was dropped by Sony, they just stopped giving a damn about the Vita with barely any games to take advantage of its hardware along with Mobile gaming taking over. Which all leads over to today with the Switch, a hybrid home console with a whole bunch of Wii U games ported over to it at launch, and PC Handhelds like the Steam Deck that can run Linux and Windows, and the upcoming PS6 handheld which will play PS4, PS5 and PS6 games. Portable gaming had to evolve by merging with home consoles. Handhelds especially in this day and age can't succeed if they try to be their own systems, due to Mobile gaming taking over.
I don't think he is an evil person. I think he's just an idiot who has trashy takes on things. He's essentially a manchild who got rich off of the VR Fad. It's difficult to take a person like him seriously, just like Elon Musk who has become a joke of a person. But besides that, good on him for finding his niche with supplying technology for weapons and creating a Gameboy Clone. Palmer Lucky is the type of person that would crap himself if he was in a warzone. A Nerd talking about a Warrior Class, get out of here.
The entire purpose of a shed is for storing garden tools and bikes. I don't know how anybody thinks storing electronic items in a shed is a good idea, I mean seriously of all the places a shed? Not a closet, under the bed, in a drawer, wardrobe, maybe an attic. Storing it in a shed is no different than just putting your valuable stuff outside. Especially here in the UK where it's windy and rainy.

If it's a typical System on a Chip clone, then why is it taking so long? It's clearly not going to be an FPGA console.
Re: Review: DreamConn S - Is This $200 Wireless Controller The Ultimate Dreamcast Pad?
Way too expensive, this is going into Arcade Stick territory in terms of pricing and i don't see much difference compared to the original.
Re: Company Behind The X68000 Z Range Wants To Know If Global Players Will Buy Them
Too expensive for an emulation based Mini Console.

Re: This Is Why You Should Never Store Your Retro Game Collection In A Shed
@HammerGalladeBro The great thing about the DS line is the batteries are super easy to replace.
