Gross. Getting a Retroid device is one of my biggest purchase regrets, but the poor experience thankfully encouraged me to embrace original hardware/native play.
It's hard to wrap my mind around the PS2 being developed in the 90s. It screams early 2000s/new millennium to me, like it was always ahead of its time.
I just tried the trial on iOS and it's pretty good. The touch controls take some getting used to, but I was maneuvering comfortably within the 15 minutes. You could also use a controller. It seems to be a very faithful port and the first five levels are basically the same, maybe even a little smoother. Hoping they port Arise to Switch.
You KNOW if you were in the same situation with the same circumstances you would do the same thing. You wouldn’t go “ah well, this random guy already bought it. Good bye $700,000! ¯(ツ)/¯”. The world is not fair and this guy made the right move, the same one most people would make under the same circumstances.

Re: The PS2 Tough Nut Security Chip 'MechaCon' Has Finally Been Cracked Open
@RupeeClock did not know that! The Microbox looks a bit more dated (especially with that floppy drive) but still pretty sleek for the early 90s!
