@Lowdefal yep I agree. I should have framed my comment to mean it was considered risky at the time as they weren’t stress tested for US power supply. NES and SNES transformers are so primitive by today’s standards with no protection in them so as well as potentially causing damage or have reduced life they were also thought to be a a potential fire risk.
Japan electricity 60Hz at 100V US 60Hz at 110V and in some states the average can be even a little higher. Look it up. Although JP transformers tend to be ok in US they aren’t designed for the slightly higher voltages. Risky
@Ristar24 displayed on a CRT or a modern digital HD TV? My N64 displayed on my 25inch 4:3 CRT still looks just as good as it always had. It’s RGB modded which helps. However on a digital TV it’s a bit of a fuzzy mess because the TV isn’t designed to handle the low quality analogue signal so makes it even worse and then blows it up to 55inches to compound the effect. Anyway I have nothing against emulation and all for it for retro games. CRTs for life.
Such a nice little device. Although it is a little redunant especially if using swiss as Memory Card Manager can be used to back up your saves. But that screen. Take my money.
Mario 64 set the standard for pretty much all 3D games moving forwards. Even just stopping and looking around (C-up) was ground breaking at the time. “You mean I can look around as if I’m actually in the game?!” No longer were we looking at games on the TV we were in them!! Nothing will ever beat that feeling for the first time
@Heavyarms55 I’ll tell what does play N64 and GC games... my N64 and GC (specifically my N64+Super64+mClassic and my GameCube+SWISS+Carby+mClassic). Still living the dream baby!
Do this with Swiss, a Carby or GCHD and a mClassic and you’re set for life. Seriously the mClassic works wonders on GC and Wii games. You need to see it in action on a big HD TV.

Re: Not Used Your Wii U In A While? It Might Be Dead
The WiiU in our house gets a lot of play time still. SM3DW, Pikmin 3, Wii Sports Resort, Excite Truck still get regular play. Great little machine.

Re: Poll: Are Game Boy Games Still Worth Playing In 2023?
I cannot believe this poll exists. Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission are two of the best games made. Period. They will never not be playable. Period.

@sketchturner NTSC N64 + Super64 from EON + mClassic from Marseille = N64 dreamland.
