No you cannot ever LEGALLY rip your Nintendo games. Nor can you LEGALLY play them on an emulator, even if you own them. This section is directly as written in the manual of gamecube games and not only forbids this activity, it also bypasses section 117 of the US Copyright Act that allows backups of delicate media. GC disks are not considered this:
"Copying of any video game for any Nintendo system is illegal and is strictly prohibited by domestic and international intellectual property laws. 'Back-up' or 'archival' copies are not authorized and are not necessary to protect your software. Violators will be prosecuted."

@KrvnchyBones no. It hasn't. The EULA in Nintendo games strictly forbids making backups and has done since the GC era.
