I've come to really like this website. I've also gone out of my way to avoid websites that wax political. And yet, I've also sold off all of my SNK products produced after MiSK bought up ownership of SNK in protest. My point: It's okay to have values. It's okay to speak up about the problems of the world. But you can't expect everyone to jump ship and agree with you immediately or without their own POV. I said it at the start of the 21st century, but it's true that in this world we vote with our dollar. Boycotting is a valid form of protest. Speaking up about problems in the world is a noble pursuit. But virtue signalling is not. Browbeating someone into trying to feel guilty because they don't agree with you is not. I'm glad this article was published. It's important to me. But that doesn't mean that it has to be important to everyone. If we can't disagree with one another, we'll never learn to live with one another. And that's the thing about planet Earth. We have to.
