$17 for a single digital album is utterly bugnuts pricing, given that most albums on Bandcamp (including records from musicians that are just as, if not more, venerable) are around half that, and $10 at the high end. not something that bothers me necessarily—I am all for artists pricing according to what they think their art is worth, even if it's something that I would not personally pick up at that retail price. but I cannot imagine folks who aren't diehards buying in, lol.
(and I don't reckon it's just a tariffs thing, the physical release is reasonably priced.)
