@PopetheRev28 I can understand that. I love my Switch and Switch 2 for the first-party titles. I don't usually go for 100% achievements, so I really enjoy that RetroAchievements provides you with an icon that shows you have beaten the main story and a different icon for all the achievements for those people that enjoy the grind.
I love RetroAchievements! I started getting into retro gaming just four months ago when I got an Ayn Thor, Odin 2 Mini and Retroid Pocket Classic.
It's a lot of fun revisiting childhood classics when there are achievements to get. I particularly like the Achievement of the Week/Month event, since I play new games that I never tried before.
The thing I really like about RetroAchievements compared to other systems (PS, Xbox and Steam) is that there are indicators for when you beat a game or mastered it (100% achievements). I really appreciate that since the other systems don't have that and I typically just play through the story and don't want to grind for all the achievements unless I really like the game.
The other benefit is that I have found a ton of Japanese exclusive games with english translations through RA that I wouldn't have thought about before. I particularly have been enjoying Kururin for the Game Cube.
I'm excited for the Wii launch in March. I have my Dolphin Bar and Steam Deck ready.
If anybody wants to follow me in RA, username is the same as here.
