@gmar On the topic of AI games being done on our website. Yes that game didn't do to well, and was requested by a friend of ours ( yet it really put me off doing it prior ). Another game we put up which was called Pitfall, was again AI and was so bad, not only did we get slammed for it, but so did the developer and I had to take it down. I can't not feature games just because they have AI however as it's being a common place now sadly. - You can pretty much take out 4 games of every 10 because they've used AI in some way. Oh and some are pretty decent!
I do try to mention the game is done with AI if I see it has, so people can make their own mind up and skip it entirely. ZX Golf was pretty good
Oh I almost forgot, our site also gets a ton of hate and have had death threats because we've featured scorpion engine developed games, or those made in ukraine. CAN'T WIN!
@NoirConceit Not true in terms of Facebook. You have multiple Admins of the Commodore Amiga Facebook group each with differing views on how to handle things. ( Plus time scales of who's on at the time ). In that group we try to persuade people not to bring politics or sexuality ( raunchy women pics too ) into it because it can cause issues depending on what side of the fence you sit on. I don't remember the holding hands one. But usually what happens it kicks off way beyond what you see in the group.
In terms of the key situation, that was related to one publisher in particular that I've had issues with. My bad call was taking it out on developers under that publisher, which I should not have done. Friends told me to take it down and I agreed with them it was a bad call.
I've made many mistakes in the past, learnt from them. I'm only human after all! ( Well atleast I'm not AI hehe )
