To be honest, that funding goal is way too much. I backed the Dreamcast blue case versions but they cost an absolute fortune which no doubt has put backers off. Perhaps it would have been more wise to get the Megadrive version backed at a lower amount and then go after a Dreamcast version later.
Playing it now, it's very impressive and really just needs a little brushing up, some of the missions are a little buggy and I've had a couple of crashes.
@Reprise That's a relief in that sense, it's still a shame that this thing really is no oil painting, but then, I guess it's not marketed for someone like me as I feel the original controller works just fine for anything that came out for the console at the time.
I'm probably in the minority who actually things this looks utterly awful. It just looks like something Mad Catz would have released in 2000, cumbersome and overly ugly.
@MaxlRoseGNR Exactly this. It needs Dreamcast support out of the box, I feel this would be reflected in the thoughts of those still releasing Dreamcast games since year by year more machines either die or the drives are replaced for SD card solutions.

Re: Anniversary: Sega Saturn, The Most Successful Console "Flop" Of All Time, Turns 30 Today
Crazy how the Saturn is such a vastly different beast when it comes to its Japanese library of games versus what was released here in the UK .
Re: RetroArch Is Working On Hardware That Allows You To Run N64 Carts On Your PC
Dreamcast, I'd love to be able to play those GD Discs somehow.

@DinnerAndWine I believe this is indeed true, which is a real shame.

Re: Modular Console RetroBlox Could Be The Ultimate Old-School Gaming Platform
If they can competently emulated Dreamcast on this and allow for retail discs to be used, I'm in.
