@MegaJ I understand the sentiment, but it's also with noting that the Igavania era was distinct from the original Castlevanias as well. Such a long-standing series is inevitably going to face a lot of changing of hands and changes to its artistic interpretation.
Your experience with this game directly reflects mine. Super Castlevania IV was my first favorite game at the age of 4 or 5, and my love of the series only expanded with the amazing Igavanias that followed.
