AYANEO has released a shipping update for its range of current and upcoming handheld consoles. The updated info, shared by RetroHandhelds, arrived in an email sent to backers and pre-order customers.
The bad news first: The company has stated there have been further delays in the shipping of its super-cute Pocket Micro 2, which was initially expected to begin shipping later this month. AYANEO now expects the Pocket Micro 2 to ship in "early November", citing the late arrival of certain build components.
More positively, the KONKR Pocket Block is on track to begin shipping this week, with orders expected to roll out in the coming days. If you are interested in picking a Pocket Block up, then there is still time to get your order in and be included in the initial batches, but move fast.
Finally, AYANEO notes that it has shipped "approximately 90%" of its Pocket Advance pre-orders, most of which consist of the "Onyx Ice" variant, which was delayed from the first few shipping batches.
Time Extension reviewed the Pocket Advance back in July, with the GBA clone coming highly recommended.
