Yuzo Koshiro is one of the most famous composers of video game music, thanks to contributions such as Streets of Rage 2, ActRaiser, Revenge of Shinobi, Etrian Odyssey and many, many more.

He's also renowned for his ageless looks – something he underlined recently by posting an image of himself at 18 compared to now, aged 55.

Koshiro certainly seems to have fought off the ageing process quite successfully and even goes as far as to outline his regime for holding back the years.

As you might expect, eating well and keeping fit are part of the process, but there's one other ingredient which Koshrio playfully includes in his 'Holy Grail' of health: the Mega Drive.

Koshiro affection for Sega's 16-bit console is well documented; he even composed exclusive menu music for the recently Mega Drive Mini and Mega Drive Mini II micro-consoles. He's also currently hard at work on a new shmup for Sega's most successful home console, and we personally cannot wait to play it.
