Topic: Favourite sonic game

Liked the first sonic game, really like the latest releases probley best ones, like generations, crystals, sonic boom,. Been playing sonic superstars, good game, but not as good as other 2D releases

Favorite 2D game would be Sonic Mania, and favorite 3D one would be Sonic Heroes.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I might be partial to this one because it was the first Sonic game I owned, getting it with my Genesis one Christmas morning. It was also the first Sonic game I really got into sure I played Sonic 1 a few times at a friend's house but 2 was the one I really put time in. I still play it at least once a year mainly on my Switch.

Sonic Mania is my favorite sonic game because they smoothed out a lot of the annoying parts that other games have. It felt like an Indie game more so than a corporate release which I liked a lot.
Out of the 3d games unleashed is probably my favorite. The werehog stages are actually fun once you get used to them. The only genuinely annoying thing is the medal systems tbh.
That said Shadow Generations is probably the best designed 3D Sonic game.

Okay fine, Sonic Racing Transformed and the Murder of Sonic VN.
I'm not in to platformers so that will have to do.

Favorite 2D Sonic used to be Sonic 3 & Knuckles, but when I played it on Sonic Origins, something didn't click and for the first time since I played it in 2003 I felt bored of it. So now I think my favorite 2D Sonic is either standalone Sonic 3 or Sonic Advance 1.

Favorite 3D Sonic is Sonic Lost World. Yeah I'll be the weirdo who liked this game over the boost-based games.
If I'm not allowed to like that game, then it's either Sonic Adventure 2 or Sonic Heroes out of nostalgia.
