@Arcadia_Official Most large US firms can't exist without corporate welfare; Starlink, Tesla, Oracle, Boeing, Palantir, ExxonMobil, Intel, GM, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, all have government contracts, had bailouts or are heavily subsidized by our taxes. In other words it's a Plutocracy, not the Democracy we learned about as children. How many fortune 500 companies could survive without government assistance? Keep in mind the CIA has offices inside Facebook and AT&T. MI5 has offices inside the BBC. The American Democracy fantasy needs to be dispelled.
