Might be interesting to point that G-mode has been releasing some of those games on the Switch and PC (I believe it's Steam only) on a regular basis. Just a bit of a shame that a big chunk of those releases are still, at least for now, only available in Japan. Also, none of them are translated, I think.
@Sketcz About Galaxy (and also Steam Launcher), it's really convenient to have a good frontend/launcher when your game library starts to get really huge. There's also cloud save/syncing, which is a launcher only feature.
And no, you don't need to be online to use both launchers. Of course some features won't be available, but if you're just interested in gaming and not worrying about anything else, this shouldn't be an issue. But honestly, at this point, I don't think there are any launchers that would stop from working just because you're without an Internet connection (although recently, I had some issues with Epic Games, which by the way, I really hate).
