Y’know how you’re old? You read articles like this that say something you’ve known since a game’s release is actually something obscure that most players didn’t know about. I found out pretty much immediately, as it was common knowledge online at the time.
WayForward also did this trick, with Wendy: Every Witch Way (extra content if you play on a GBA) and Shantae (extra transformation if you play on a GBA). Makes sense that these were obscure, since Wendy’s a licensed game (that is pretty good, btw) and Shantae is the rarest GBC cartridge that about seven people played until the game was re-released.
