Nobody cared, because they already had PS2 with the PS1 version, and was getting the later games. No one even cared when GCN dropped to $100, then it was already 7th generation. I've played through this game about 4 times, with the last try being half way through the extreme mode where you can't be seen even once.
Ya. I'm surprised the right to breath air isn't in the constitution. Maybe it is? Who knows anymore. There's already a such thing as illegal plants. Pretty crazy, bro.
I'm honestly not surprised. It's a cool concept, but based on the pitch sheet, they would have been distributing the game for free. There's no money in that for Nintendo, so that's probably why they denied it. Maybe if it was F2P or a paid game, they would have accepted it.
Asking for an office in 2 locations is pretty ridiculous, but it is no doubt a bit easier to release a game on Wii U.
EDIT: Even if Nintendo would have accepted the game, the developers would have probably had to stay in Japan(if they weren't already there), anyway, with an office, which is what they ended up having to do, but couldn't.
This games was cool for sure. The only weird thing, was that it literally went on sale to $8 less than a year of coming out at GS stores where I lived... Everyone I knew w/ a GCN had this game, and all liked it. I thought the graphics/audio were awesome when I first played it. I knew nothing about the original Dinosaur Planet idea until later after looking up more aboit the game, even though I do think the original idea looked more appealing(no offense towards Star Fox!) in terms of characters and beta weirdness. Sometimes keeping up w/ game news is a bad omen, and just take Megaman Legends, Dinosaur Planet, and Smash Bros. as examples. I say this because, people see something in particular during development, it vanishes from the result, and leaves them pissed off, or dissapointed sometimes.
