Remember a dude in the 90's who was "Midwest rich" (so middle class in our lower class area) who had one. He was ordering games from Japan, the rest of us had to live through him and sit there in wonder at the games. Pre-internet time was crazy, just buying Japanese gaming mags, having to do rough translations then ordering....and waiting for weeks on end for something to come in.
Out of curiosity, I just hit up Yahoo Japan Auctions to see what was on there for the Neo Geo. SOOO much and SOOO pricey, although there were some good deals. Had to self-ban myself from YJA, spending way too much on their auctions
it's a bit of an odd egg and not an elegant solution. The top screen literally looks like someone had an LED lying around and wanted to see how it might look. I'm also curious as to what that other screen might do if someone is, say, doing a PS2 emulation. At a minimum there needs to be some sort of button or toggle to turn the screen off.
