There are things to be concerned about with this phone for sure - I am wary of a first-time phone from any company, the messaging around it is a bit confused, I personally would like to see it have email in addition to the features mentioned as email is not something that distracts me in the same way social media does, can we guarantee SailfishOS will continue to be able to support WhatsApp, so on and so forth.
That being said - as someone who has been looking into dumbphones for some time, I am not sure what people are talking about when they say there are phones offering the same features for cheaper. None of the Nokia flip phones guarantee WhatsApp as it doesn't support KaiOS, some of them don't have bluetooth, etc etc. If you want something with these features you're looking at something like the Balance Phone or the Freetel which are both around the same price as this - esp with this price reduction.
