This looks sick imo, but I've personally bricked a DSi XL and some replacement parts while doing a full shell replacement, so would be scary doing something similar on a more complex (and pricier!) device. Those ribbon cables that coil thru the hinge make me want to cry lmao
@RupeeClock 100%, I got a DSi XL recently and playing it side-by-side with a 3DS it's insane how much better DS games look on the DSi because of that scalar multiple resolution difference.
I think it's the main reason I thought Pokemon Black/White looked like a downgrade from Gen 4 when I played in 2011, cuz I exclusively played B/W on a 3DS but was too young to realise why it was so much blurrier.
