GamesMaster presenter Dominik Diamond is coming back to his home soil to host a new show, Dominik Diamond Sings the Video Games.
This musical event "lifts the curtain on the games you love and tells you the REAL story of the characters you have spent years forcing to run, jump, drive, and fight on screen," says the PR, before adding:
"Part stand-up, part concert and with occasional audience participation, the show from the writer and presenter of the iconic 90s TV show GamesMaster squeezes every last drop of humour, poignancy and cynically placed double entendres out of insanely catchy melodies. From the dating problems of PacMan to the HR mistakes that led to Space Invaders, this is your favourite games, spun in comic directions you’ve never seen or heard before."
It takes place on Tuesday 29th September at 7:30 pm at Stoke Newington's Loading Bar, and tickets cost a very reasonable £15 each. A post-show Q&A / Meet 'n Greet is included.
Diamond rose to fame as the host and writer of GamesMaster, comfortably the UK's most famous video game TV show. He is also famous for hosting The Dominik Diamond Breakfast Show on XFM Scotland.
He moved to Canada in 2009, where he has hosted numerous radio shows.
