Namco has announced that it will be opening a huge new amusement arcade in Shinjuku's Tokyu Kabukicho Tower later this year (as spotted by Time Out). So if you're planning a visit to Tokyo for whatever reason, it might be worth stopping by.

The new arcade called Namco Tokyo will open on April 14th, 2023, and occupies a 1400sqm space on the third floor of the building. The space will be open from 11 am to 1 am daily following its official launch and will be home to amusements like gachapon and crane machines, a One Piece card shop, an Ichibankuji store, and a music and play lounge named Asobinotes.

In this play lounge, you'll be able to watch performances from AI DJs including Namco characters like Pac-Man, as well as buy alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, retro desserts from the specialist Parfaiteria Bel, and canned savoury food from the company Cannederful.
