Namco has announced that it will be opening a huge new amusement arcade in Shinjuku's Tokyu Kabukicho Tower later this year (as spotted by Time Out). So if you're planning a visit to Tokyo for whatever reason, it might be worth stopping by.

The new arcade called Namco Tokyo will open on April 14th, 2023, and occupies a 1400sqm space on the third floor of the building. The space will be open from 11 am to 1 am daily following its official launch and will be home to amusements like gachapon and crane machines, a One Piece card shop, an Ichibankuji store, and a music and play lounge named Asobinotes.

In this play lounge, you'll be able to watch performances from AI DJs including Namco characters like Pac-Man, as well as buy alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, retro desserts from the specialist Parfaiteria Bel, and canned savoury food from the company Cannederful. If you want to find out more information, you can visit its website here.
