Re: Arcade Enters "Survival Mode" As It Seeks To Avoid Closure

I used to go the arcades when I was 3 years old back in 1989 when I was living in England, and even though I was so young looking at the pictures makes me remember how much fun that experience was for me. My uncle who used to bring me to the arcade also had an arcade of its own in his basement with a full size snooker table, many pinball machines, and arcades of the likes of Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Popeye, Frogger, Galaga, Space Invaders, Centipede, and others I can't recall. As I grew up I continued to be a massive fan of arcade culture in general. My personal era of arcades were those massive Dynamo Showcase Pedestal 36" Arcade Machines of the mid to late 90s where I enjoyed the likes of Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat, X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Street Fighter Alpha, and later the likes of Tekken, Virtua Fighter, SoulCalibur, The House Of The Dead, Virtua Cop, Time Crisis, and many others. So arcades are basically part of me. When I hear that newest generations don't get to enjoy them, it kind of breaks my heart knowing all the coolness they are missing on.
