@GMMXX A lot of people like to say "I told you so" and pride themselves on how they warned about the negative effects of the ABK deal, but let's be real, almost no one predicted how it would actually play out.
The majority of the people who were vocally against the ABK acquisition were concerned that Microsoft was going to make everything exclusive and somehow become a monopoly in the console space, thus crushing PlayStation and making things worse for PlayStation customers. That didn't happen, of course.
Few people, if any, said that Microsoft was going to go third-party because of the ABK deal. Yes, the acquisition was bad, but not in the ways that some believed.
@Masacheez What better way to get back at a company than by cheering for their demise, which would lead to decreased competition and millions of Xbox players losing their digital libraries.
It sucks that that happened to you, but if you don't want other people to have the same unfortunate experience that you had, you probably shouldn't be rooting for Xbox to die.
