@PopetheRev28 They were not in the original. From the patch's readme:
"The game was actually brought to English speaking audiences in 1999 in a pretty awful Windows port. Well, it had a revamped character switching system and full voice acting, along with a MIDI soundtrack that took advantage of good setups but... the thing is that the writing was completely butchered. Countless references to the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal were scattered everywhere, along with out-of-place and already dated pop culture references, toilet humor and really awful puns. Not to mention characters were rewritten to be unsufferable ***** and/or dirty perverts. And to add insult to the injury, the level of profanity was drastically increased... but the H-scenes were removed."
@Sketcz I haven't yet, but as an example of its praise, the Sega Saturn port was voted in 2000 by Japanese gamers as the best game on the console, beating even the legendary YU-NO (by the same writer-composer duo) which came in 4th place.

Re: Wake Up, It Looks Like Terranigma Might Finally Be Getting A Re-Release
>It was only released in Europe
I'm pretty sure it was released in Japan as well.
