An artist on Reddit has proudly revealed their 3D-printed recreation of one of gaming's most recognisable weapons: The high-powered Sniper Rifle from Rare's beloved N64 first-person shooter GoldenEye 007.

The rifle, crafted by GoldenEye enthusiast Arnielthegreat, has been authentically recreated in all of its low-poly 3D glory, complete with a wood-style stock, reinforced butt, and the metallic barrel of its in-game counterpart - ready for deployment in your next Dam or Severnaya-based bout of espionage.

If close-quarters combat is more your modus operandi, Arniel's veritable Q Lab has you covered, as the Sniper Rifle is just one of a number of 3D-printed weapons that they have pulled from GoldenEye 007's arsenal. As pictured, models have already been printed of the Silenced PP7, the DD44 Dostevei, the powerful RC-P90, and nobody's favourite, the Klobb.

Of course, all of these examples pale in comparison to GoldenEye 007's greatest, deadliest weapon: The Slap. Arniel also understands this and has hand-crafted (no pun intended) perhaps the greatest melee attack in FPS history. An integral part of any MI5 operative's hidden assets.

The crafting process is understandably a meticulous and arduous one, but Arniel explains an abridged version of their design methods in the comments:

"(I) Start by ripping the model from the game. Import it, then spend quite a while fixing the model to make it solid, fix symmetry issues, make any major shape fixes, etc.

Then I separate it into pieces, generally by colour. Add any detail I want, (and) then work out how to join everything together. Print prototypes, fix final print, upload to MakerWorld. Post to Reddit and hope people get a kick out of it!"

Arniel expects they will eventually make their way through the entire arsenal, so all you D5K Deutsche fans will have to wait. It should also be noted that Arniel uploads his blueprints for free, generously sharing his work with other 007 aficionados. So, if you have use for a 3D-printed prop of the Silenced PP7, or Pierce Brosnan's hand - then you know where to go.
