Mike Chi's RetroTINK line of video processing devices has become the gold standard for retro gamers who want to get the best possible image from their legacy systems, with the RetroTINK 4K offering an incredible amount of customisation when it comes to upscaling and filters.

Chi has just teased a new member of the RetroTINK family (which also includes the more affordable 5X), and he's lifting the lid on it this weekend.

Engineer Voultar – the man behind the SNES Edge Enhancer – has clearly been given early access, as he recently said this on social media:

"If you’ve been waiting for an affordable video processor that punches WAY above its class, pay attention. This isn’t a beta test. It isn’t a proof of concept. It’s a real, finished product that WORKS. The price is nuts. The feature set is even crazier."

Chi has confirmed that this isn't an "RT5X or RT5X-derived device", so what could it possibly be? Place your bets by posting a comment below.
