Toaplan's Batsugun is a beloved shmup for many reasons. It was the final game from the legendary Japanese developer before it closed its doors and is often credited as starting the 'bullet hell' genre. Due to its cult popularity, the Sega Saturn port – which, for the longest time, was the only home port of the game – has risen in value over the years.

Thankfully, City Connection has just released the game on Switch and PS4 in Japan, finally making it affordable for modern players.

Our special edition of the Batsugun Saturn Tribute Boosted has just arrived from the Far East, so check out the photos below. The game comes packaged with a lush printing manual / art book, as well as a soundtrack CD which showcases both the original and arranged soundtracks for the game.
