Analogue Pocket Adapters

When the Analogue Pocket was announced, Analogue revealed that it would feature cartridge support for a bunch of classic computers and devices like the TurboGrafx-16, Neo Geo Pocket Color, and Atari Lynx. However, at launch, only the Game Gear adapter was available for purchase.

Today, though, Analogue has finally announced that the remaining cartridge adapters will be going up for pre-order on October 21st as a single set. This will cost $99 and is expected to ship sometime in Q3 2023.

The set will include three adapters compatible with cartridges available for the following machines:

  • Neo Geo Pocket Color
  • Atari Lynx
  • And the TurboGrafx-16, PC Engine, and SuperGrafx

It's important to note this wasn't the only news Analogue dropped today. The company also announced that 95% of all Pocket preorders (Group B and C) will ship before the end of 2022 and that they are only producing one final run of its Analogue Super Nt and Mega Sg systems.

This final run will be available for preorder on Oct 28th for $199 and already seems to be proving divisive among retro fans, with some critical of Analogue's decision to end manufacturing. We can only hope that this is in anticipation of a new model, though time will tell.
