Re: The Making Of: Strider II - One Of The Worst Sequels In Video Game History, And I Should Know - I Had To Test It

I worked w/ Tiertex on the infamous Supercross 3d for the Atari Jaguar. They seemed on par with the other UK devs we were working with at the time, granted they could never get the frame rate up, but they did get the game out the door. I would love to see the Lynx Strider though! Additionally, they were also going to work on Mindripper for the JAG CD but that never got out the starting blocks, however their concept designs were decent for the time.

When I was at Nintendo I think I worked on this for about a week or 2 before not being invited to meetings. My vague recollection was that NST wanted to handle most of the oversight themselves and show their abilities to Japan. (Admittedly I was never going to be the NCL whisperer on that game, so I was not distraught about not working on it). From what I remember of playing it, it seemed to come out fine though.
