I think you're missing a big point here. They told us the book was being printed months ago, then an update a month after confirmed everything was going smoothly and we would have the books by early September. Then they went radio silent as that deadline came and went, despite promising constant updates.
Now they are saying the printing process never really got started, there were issues with the printing to begin with. So they either lied initially or are completely lying now.
At best, they are beyond incompetent, at worst, this is just a scam and they wanted to chill people out so they could have more time with our money. There is no excuse for lying and saying it was going well for them to now say, hey just kidding it never started and then not provide updates for months. I would not be angry if they took five minutes a week to let us know what was going on.
