This should have been a widescreen device so that the screen could rotate for TATE mode games. Without that it is worse than pointless compared to a more traditional clam shell design. The hinge will likely be more prone to failure and when closed the screen is still exposed to damage.
@Bod2019 Yeah, I'm skeptical of this claim that they own the rights to their translation and original IP holder has no say. By that logic you could translate a book into another language and claim to control that version of it. That doesn't seem accurate.
