Re: Final Fantasy Composer Nobuo Uematsu Has Never Used AI, "And Probably Never Will"

Nobuo Uematsu is a legend for creating the music he has. Many of his work has lots of fluctuations and steady development of the same theme making the whole song meaningful. I've been trying to play Aerith and Tifa's Theme on piano and because of so many subtle differences and slow buildup throughout it, it is much harder of a time than something that doesn't have substantial song development throughout. Aerith and Tifa's Theme for example feel like the whole song is iterating on the chorus and building upon it in meaningful ways throughout the whole song. Compared to many songs that have a chorus and have no development between that and return to the same chorus over again until the song is over. Many times this is acceptablely fine but when songs have large gaps of what feels like filler while you await the chorus it feels bad and is extremely common in modern music. The whole song should be good not just bits and pieces (Example of filler song unrelated to games "Airplanes in the Nightsky" has a single chorus repeated 3 times with rap filling in the rest of the song) Thank you for coming to my a Ted Talk! Nobuo Uematsu is amazing!
