I reviewed the Megadrlve version for Mean Machines back in the day. Up until then Ubisoft games were almost universally panned and the PR woman at the time couldn’t quite believe it was going to get a decent mark. I’m mean, it’s not Mario Kart but it’s not bad.
$750 in 1992 is not £590 'in today's money'. That's a currency conversion. Taking inflation into account, it's equivalent to something costing about $1625 now.
