If I am not mistaken, Commodore Internation sued the same company that Perifratic bought the trademarks from in count and were told that they were indeed legit trademarks and could use the Commodore name, so there is no reason why they would be deemed invalid now. The previous owners proved in court they were legit claims, and those claims follow the trademarks, they do not stay with the trademark owners when the trademarks are sold.
