You should definitely state one major rule for this challenge:
Japanese/Famicom version of Battletoads is NOT ALLOWED.
The Famicom version’s difficulty is toned down so much that the whole game is barely challenging at times, a far cry from the original release.
Anyway, I remember when my little brother was too young to have the skills to keep up at the Turbo Tunnel level in 2 Player mode. So, what would any sane person do? Force a 2P game over and complete the level in 1 Player mode? Yes… but I’m not sane.
I played the level in 2P mode. By myself. A controller in each hand.
And I won. (And no, this was not the Famicom version, lol)
Easily one of my biggest accomplishments in gaming.
