Except for the big red button on the Atari 2600 and different controls for pong. AB XY has pretty much been the gaming standard. Gameboy only had 2 buttons other than the cross.
Game Genie ruled the world back in the day. I admit I was one of the ones to have one on my Gameboy. Its too bad they didn't have one on the DS and now the switch.
